It took about 45 mins to make 3 kg of
sauerkraut which will be ready in a few months time... normally I use white
cabbage, but they only had green, so green it was, not organic and with
cabbage, it is ok not to go organic as they rarely use pesticides and unfortunately, just cause it is organic,
doesn't mean it is more nutritious that non organic, I do have a story about
that which someday I will dig out and post... some foods I will not compromise
on and they have to be organic, but not cabbage...
